Venkateshwara Prasad Tangirala after completing schooling in the states of Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, moved back to Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh state to pursue bachelor degree in science (in computer science) from Nagarjuna University. He received master's degree in computer science also from Nagarjuna University.

He taught for over one and half year at post-graduate level before joining the Bureau of Indian Standards, New Delhi as Deputy Director/Scientist - C where he is presently working since last nine years.  He submitted his Ph.D. thesis to the Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi where he is associated as a research scholar. The area of research is modeling gene expression using artificial neural networks, under the supervision of Prof. S. I. Ahson.  Bioinformatics, artificial intelligence, data structures and efficient algorithms, computer organization and architecture, consciousness studies, etc. are his areas of interests. Ravindra Babu Pentela completed his bachelor degree in science (in computer science) from Nagarjuna University, Andhra Pradesh. He received master's degree in computer science also from Nagarjuna University in 2004.  He has developed quite some software projects in Visual Basic, Java, Visual C++, Oracle, etc.  He is presently working as a software engineer in a software consulting firm in New Delhi, India.  He can be contacted at [email protected].


Prof. Syed Ismail Ahson is presently with the Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi as Head, Dept. of Computer Science.  He pursued M. Tech. from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, and then earned Ph.D. and post-doc from University of Sheffield, UK. He was earlier a professor at IIT Delhi where he guided his first Ph.D. scholar during 1979.  After having worked for 13 years, Prof. Ahson left for Riyadh to teach at King Saud University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  He taught there various subjects related to Computer Science & Engineering for over a decade before joining the JMI, New Delhi, during 2001.  He authored two books and has over 100 papers to his credit.  His research interests include robotics, brain and neural studies, artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, etc.  He can be contacted at [email protected].
